A very warm welcome to Year Three at The Bay. We have two classes taught by Mr Donald and Miss Clifford and supported by Mrs Bower and Mrs Cox.
All staff within year 3 work together to support the children with their academic and pastoral care, in our holistic learning environment.
Year 3 represents a very important year for the children, making the transition from key stage 1 to key stage 2. Children are supported in their continued personal development and gently prepared for the more formal elements of learning that continue throughout their schooling. We take pride in providing them with the physical and emotional tools for this. However, there is still plenty of opportunity for the fun elements of practical learning, seeing both Science and Maths as real and relevant subjects, using concrete objects to bring our subjects to life.
