Uniform and P.E. Kit

Most of our uniform items can be purchased from any shop. Our uniform provider (for ties, blazers and branded items) is The School Shop, they are located in Union Street, Ryde and can be contacted by email on enquiries@thesportshop.co. They also have an online shop: https://www.iwuniform.co.uk/ They do a free weekly delivery service to the primary and the secondary site.

Please put your child’s name in every item of clothing.

Primary

Reception to Year 5

Sky blue polo shirt with or without logo
Navy blue round neck sweatshirt/cardigan with or without school logo
Charcoal grey or black tailored trousers / tailored shorts (no jeans or leggings).
Charcoal grey or black fan pleated skirt / pinafore
Blue summer school dress (to be worn in the Summer Term)
Plain black, grey or white ankle socks / plain black opaque tights
Sensible flat black non-logoed leather-style shoes which are polishable (no trainers, canvas, open-toed shoes or boots. Heels should be no larger than 3cm)

Year 6

As above plus a sky blue shirt with collar (long or short sleeved) and House Tie (clip on or real).

Only stud earrings are permitted for school, and pupils need to be able to take out their own studs for any sporting activities such as PE, games, swimming or any sports. If your child is unable to remove them, they must not wear them to school on the day of the sporting activity. If they have just had their ears pierced, we will allow them to cover them up with tape for the healing period; please notify your child's class teacher of the date they had them pierced. School staff are unable to remove your child’s earrings.

Secondary

Sky blue shirt with collar (long or short sleeved)
House tie (clip on or regular)
Black V neck jumper, with The Bay CE logo or plain (optional – this may be worn under a blazer but not instead of a blazer).
Black blazer with school logo (must be worn)
Black tailored trousers or shorts (no jeans or leggings)
Black fan pleated skirt (to be worn no shorter than just above the knee)
Plain black, grey or white ankle socks (no logos) / plain black opaque tights. No long socks permitted. Socks should not be worn over tights.
Sensible flat black non-logoed leather-style shoes which are polishable (no trainers, canvas, open-toed shoes or boots. Heels should be no larger than 3cm)

Jewellery: Only one stud earring is permitted in each ear lobe. Ear ‘stretchers’, nose studs and other types of piercings are not allowed.

Make up: No make up is permitted. Nail varnish, false nails or false eye lashes are not permitted.

Hair: Extreme hairstyles and unnaturally coloured hair are not permitted.

Hijabs: Please wear black or navy.
