U9 League Champions!

The U9 girls had a brilliant first season of school football. They all worked so hard to get to the league final against Ryde School on Thursday. The Bay started really well, having lots of possession, and a few opportunities saved by the Ryde goalkeeper. Neve opened the scoring after a lovely run from midfield saw her take the ball around the defenders and goalkeeper. The second goal came quickly after with a left foot strike from Neve. This took the girls into halftime 2-0 up! In the second half, Ryde started strong, and Evalyn made a couple of fantastics saves to keep the ball out of her goal! Minutes later, Lottie got the ball deep in her half and ran past three or four defenders before shooting narrowly wide. Neve then scored her hattrick with another left foot strike. Just before the final whistle Neve managed to sneak another goal in. The girls won the final 4-0, congratulations girls!
