U13 Girls Football v Ryde Academy

The U13 girl's football team kicked off their first game of the season against Ryde Academy, with all of our Year 7s making their debut for the school team.

It didn’t take long for the action to unfold. Summer H stepped up with a fantastic finish to level the game 1-1 after Ryde Academy initially took the lead, heading into halftime with the score all square.

In the second half, the Year 8s took to the field alongside the remaining Year 7s, adding strength and experience to the lineup. Maisy M quickly made her mark with a well-taken goal, putting The Bay ahead 2-1. As the match wore on, Jess L sealed the win with a brilliant strike, ensuring a 3-1 victory for The Bay.

A brilliant start to the season for the U13s, with impressive debuts from the Year 7s and solid teamwork all around. The Bay can be proud of their performance, and the future looks bright for girls football at The Bay.
