What a performance from our U13 boys cricket team today in the IOW Schools final against Carisbrooke at Arreton CC.

Batting first, we lost Michael M early, but a fantastic partnership between Warrick C and Ollie M saw us post a score of 78 off our 16 overs. Warrick C retiring with his highest score of 30 not out.

In reply Brad B and Ollie M’s bowling was just too hot to handle and had Carisbrooke 30 for 5 at the halfway mark. A good catch from Noah C and some further tight bowling from Lewis C, Warrick C, Michael M and Josh J restricted Carisbrooke to 60 all out. Ollie M with 4 wickets.

A great achievement for the lads and a lovely afternoon of cricket played in good spirit.
