U11 Cricket

The U11 boys started the cricket season off with their match against Newchurch. The Bay batted first, and started strong with some good hits, especially off the batting tee when the bowler bowled a no ball. Riley, Harley, and Archie all hit a 6 to boost the score, and with the boys only getting out a couple of times, this meant The Bay finished on 57 runs. 

Next up it was The Bay’s turn to bowl, and after a lot of practice in PE lessons and after school clubs, the boys bowled confidently. They fielded strongly and despite not getting any catches, they stopped the ball going to the boundary a number of times. Newchurch finished on 54 runs, meaning The Bay won by 3 runs! Well done team The Bay!
