Learn Together Mornings

It has been so wonderful to see so many of you attending our 'Learn Together' mornings over the past three weeks. The children have really enjoyed learning alongside their parents and family members to demonstrate their growing knowledge in phonics and reading. Here are some quotes from our pupils:

'It was great to work with my Mum today because I could show her how confident I am now at answering reading questions.' - Y4 pupil

'Doing phonics with my Daddy was fun! We are going to do more of the games at home.' - Y1 pupil

The impact that a positive home-school relationship can have on pupil progress and attainment is widely recognised and the positivity from our pupils, who attended the workshops, really highlighted this. We also received some really useful feedback from those of you in attendance and are already planning Maths 'Learn Together' mornings for later in the year.
